What is BT21?

BT21 is the first presentation from Friends Creators, a project formed to create new characters for the Line Friends series. South Korean boy group BTS was the first artist on this project. It includes eight characters created by the Korean Boy Group BTS and based on the original ideas & sketches of the group members. 

Who are BT21 Members – Character Information:

• Koya – created by RM. Koya is a blue Koala with a violet nose and ears that fall off when Koya feels choked or surprised. 
• RJ – created by Jin. RJ is a white alpaca, always wearing a red scarf. RJ hates shaving his fur and loves to eat.
• Shooky – a savage character. A small chocolate chip cookie who is afraid of milk.
• Mang – a character created by J-Hope. An unknown species, that wears a horse mask and heart-shaped nose. Many loves to dance.
• Chimmy – created by Jimin. A passionate puppy with his tongue hanging out. Chimmy wears a yellow hoodie and does not remember his past.
• Tata – created by V. Shape-shifting prince from the Planet BT. His head is heart-shaped and he spreads love all around the universe. 
• Cooky – was created by Jungkook. Cooky is a cute, but tough pink bunny with one eyebrow, who loves his body as a temple and likes boxing.
• Van – Tata’s AI robot, created by RM. Half of his body is grey with an “X” eye, and the other half is white with an “O” eye. He is BT21’s protector and represents BTS fandom A.R.M.Y.
